About ME

My passion is designing soft goods, gear, and apparel that inspire adventure and improve the way people experience the outdoors.

Midwest born and raised, I grew up chasing mountains on every vacation. There’s nothing better to me than leaving the flat plains behind and watching peaks rise in the distance — it’s that feeling of discovery and belonging that drives both my work and my life.

My professional “ah-ha” moment came while training for the Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu. As I researched the right gear for the journey, I realized how much thoughtful design can shape an experience — how something as simple as the right pair of boots could make or break an adventure. That spark led me to pursue a Master of Science in Sports Product Design, where I combined my engineering background with my love of problem-solving and the outdoors.

Since then, I’ve built a career at the intersection of technical design, engineering, and product development. From leading full lifecycle development at HeroWear to collaborating with international manufacturing teams, my work focuses on creating functional, durable, and user-centered products that support real people in real conditions.

At the heart of it, I design for the same reason I head to the mountains: to inspire, to challenge, and to make the journey better.
