About ME

My passion is designing gear and apparel that inspires and improves how others seek out their own adventure.

Midwest born and raised, I spent most vacations heading west to find mountains. For me, there is no better feeling than leaving the flat plains behind and watching mountains grow larger in the windshield. I hope everyone has a chance to experience that feeling of coming home.

Personally and professionally, my ah-ha moment came when I was training for the Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu. In preparation for the trip, I spent hours researching the best gear for the trip and was inspired by the idea that a pair a boots could make or break the journey. I loved researching the design process that was involved in creating just one product and was so inspired that I moved across the country to pursue a MS in Sports Product Design.

I plan to combine my engineering background, my graduate degree and my love of exceptional mountain views to pursue a career in the outdoor industry.
